STAIND Set Release Date For New CD

STAIND have set a May 6 release date through Elektra Records for their as-yet-untitled follow-up to their multi-platinum 2001 effort, "Break the Cycle".

When asked if the success of "Break The Cycle" put more pressure or lessened the pressure on the band when writing and recording the forthcoming album, STAIND vocalist Aaron Lewis said, "When you're coming from a place of, in your head, not thinking that you're the shit...It still makes me uncomfortable for people to put me in categories with these other singers that I just think are amazing singers.

"I don't feel like I'm this great singer. So the self-doubt, it's hard for that not to set in. And that's a hard thing to kind of keep out of your whole frame of mind and just try to do what we do and just do what comes naturally. And not try to process anything, and just do it and do what we've done all along."
